“Living Springs is a physical place. The ethos of our staff has an increasingly strong bent toward conservation and outdoor activities.”
The natural environment at Living Springs is incredible, so it’s little surprise there is a genuine focus on the outdoors! Whatever your reason for visiting Living Springs, it is worth making the time to enjoy the surroundings. With experienced guides on hand to instruct and mentor, combined with superb facilities, everyone can have a go! School children and adults are both equally catered for, meaning varying levels of fun for all ages.
For those seeking a serious injection of the great outdoors, kayaking is a fantastic option. Rock climbing is also catered for, and demanding hill tracks, as well as less challenging ones, are dedicated to tramping and mountain biking. (Click here to see the mountain bike trails of Living Springs)
If you or your organisation are planning a team building day, nothing beats the initiative and low-ropes courses. Corporate groups and schools find these courses suitable for pushing personal boundaries in a fun and safe environment.
Children visiting Living Springs flock to the Farm Park, which is an outing of its own. There, pony rides are available, and general farm activities, such as sheep shearing and cow milking, are displayed.
"The most fun things on camp were ... to do with ropes like the 'Flying Kiwi' and the 'High Ropes' course"
Aidan Davey, Hillmorton High School
"While Kayaking around Quail Island it was so relaxing and breathtaking looking around at the scenery from the middle of the harbour...and after you pulled into land, when you looked back out and saw how far you had paddled you got a feeling of self achievement."
Taylor Hann, Hillmorton High School
