Bush Camp
Bush Camp (Sleeps 40)
There is nothing quite like camping at the Living Springs ‘bush camp’. Tucked away into the hillside and barely visible from the main buildings, the bush camp is a real favourite with campers. Platforms large enough for a tent or two are discreetly hidden amongst the bush, and school campers generally spend at least one night out in the wilderness.
A large open-fronted ‘barn’ has cooking facilities, a dry place to sit, and a memorable campfire for sitting around to toast marshmallows and tell stories well into the night.
Bush camp includes overnight supervision of night activities including preparation of dinner/ breakfast by an experienced instructor. Activities that can be undertaken at Bush Camp are the Burma Trail, Environmental Studies, Outdoor Living Skills, Bivy Making and Astronomy.
