Are you having trouble finding a pool in Christchurch that you can roll your kayak in after the earthquake? We have a indoor pool that is heated and it has survived the earthquake! It is not as big as QE2 but we would like to share what we have with you...
When: Every Thursday from 7:30pm (max 12 in the pool and 20 per session). Pool can comfortably fit 10 river kayaks @time. With that sort of numbers you'd get quality practice.
Location: 218 Bamfords Road, turnoff situated on the road between Governors Bay and Diamond Harbour only a 20min drive from Christchurch.
Cost: $8 p/p, cash only with no change given

Special info: When you arrive at Living Springs please check in at ‘the lodge’ (the big house on your right) before you head down towards the pool. Please ensure you wash your equipment before you enter the pool.Please park in the car parks & walk your boats over, not on the grass.
We also hire out the whole pool & other facilies in different times - so if you have a group that would like to come please get in touch.
