Rock Climbing

Climbing is one of the most challenging and rewarding activities you will do! Living Springs has multiple climbing sites that cater for all ages from year 5 upwards. This includes abseiling sites with multiple grades for beginners through to experienced. We are also able to run independent climbing courses. No prior climbing experience is required.

Abseiling

LS has two abseil sites, one 5 metres and one 20 metres. This activity is most effective with small groups where those watching can support and encourage. Abseiling is a great activity where people have to learn to trust the equipment and instructors and really believe in themselves. A great personal challenge. Includes some instruction and learning about equipment and teaching progressions.

Canyoning Trip

A radical exploration down the Living Springs Creek. The trip contains a series of hand lines and obstacles through native bush. This was a real find! We can run 2 different trips, the longer trip contains a 5 metre abseil off a dam.

Archery/ Air rifles

We have recently reopened our new archery/ air rifles range. This caters for easy to intermediate levels. Both activities involve utilising eye to hand coordination, beneficial skills for all ages.

Walks/ Tramping

Crater Rim Walkway

This is a great option for your arrival into Living Springs on Day 1. It's a real journey with a sense of adventure. This walk is suitable for persons with average fitness. On the way we visit the DOC Centre at Victoria PArk which provides information about the area, local history and points of interest along the way. We can also arrange for your luggage to be transported to Living Springs.

Orienteering

Living Springs has been mapped for orienteering. We have set a basic yet challenging outdoor course that tests map reading skills and teamwork. A Living Springs staff member will communicate the necessary information to your group and get them underway.
