This facility has 14 bedrooms and a lounge with a spectacular view. Rooms 1-4 are located on the foyer level of the main building and have a paraplegic bathroom adjacent. Rooms 5-14 are located downstairs and have separate ladies' and gents' bathroom facilities (2 showers and toilets in each). Rooms 1-2  have three king single beds. Rooms 3-14 have two king single beds. King single beds can be put together to make a super king size bed for couples.

Shared/bunkrooms (sleep 134)

This facility consists of 4 bunkhouses sleeping a total of 134 comfortably.  Each bunkhouse has its own toilet and shower facilities. Most bunkrooms have one double bunk.  All bunkhouses have four bunkrooms with 8 beds (4 sets of bunks in each); two of the bunkhouses (bunkhouses 1 and 4) also have a room with 3 single beds and an en-suite bathroom.

Outdoor camping (sleeps 100+) 

The Camping Centre has shower and toilet facilities and a kitchen/dining area (containing basic utensils). There are sites for approx. 30 tents, plus 18 powered sites. 3-person tents are available for hire from Living Springs.

The Chalet stands on its own just a short walk down the hill from the trampolines. It is one large room, a kitchenette at one end (includes fridge & microwave) and a fabulous view at the other. This area can be used for planning meetings, set up with a board room style table or can be used for accommodation with up to 6 beds set up. There is a separate bathroom with shower and toilet facilities.


Retreat Hut

Retreat Hut 3-141

The Retreat Hut stands on its own just a 10-15 min walk up the hill from the main camp. Ideal for small groups to have some time out. Ask for directions at reception. Bring a torch (no candles please). Gas cooker, utensils and crockery is provided. There is an outdoor toilet (toilet paper provided) and a wood burner (wood is supplied). There is hot water only if fire is lit.  Retreat Hut has a small lounge, kitchen adjoining, small bathroom with shower and sink, separate bunkroom with mattresses. (Bunkroom sleeps 4 people, sofa bed couch sleeps 2.) Bring your own pillows and linen. Emergency extra blankets are stored under the bunks.


Bush Camp

Platforms large enough for tents are discreetly hidden amongst the bush and school campers generally spend at least one night out in the wilderness. A large open-fronted ‘barn’ has cooking facilities, a dry place to sit and a memorable campfire for sitting around to toast marshmallows and tell stories well into the night.  Bush camp includes overnight supervision of night activities including preparation of dinner/ breakfast by an experienced instructor. Activities that can be undertaken at Bush Camp are the Burma Trail, Environmental Studies, Outdoor Living Skills, Bivy Making and Astronomy.

Bellbird Heights

Recently refurbished self-contained units are of two-bedroom and one-bedroom configurations. They are set amongst a backdrop of native bush with stunning harbour views. Each unit has its own bathroom facilities, dining area and a kitchenette.


Shared/bunkrooms (sleep 24)

Also part of the Bellbird Heights facility is a recently refurbished bunkhouse containing 6 comfortable and spacious rooms with 4 bunks in each. These rooms have shared bathroom and laundry facilities. The bunkhouse is situated adjacent to a large conference/ meeting / living room with a large fully equipped kitchen. 


Summit Camp

Outdoor camping (sleeps 35)

This campsite is located up at the Summit Road within Living Springs property boundary and is protected by native bush. It is a smaller site than the Bush Camp, sleeping approximately 35 people. It is also the most basic of our outdoor camping sites and has a long drop toilet and camp fire site.  Activities that can be undertaken while camping there include Walking Trails, Outdoor Living Skills and Rock Climbing / Abseiling.
